Health and Wellbeing is a part of Sustainability!

Hi You!

How are you today? I really hope that you are well, and find ways to stay energized and positive, despite current challenges.

Today, by blogpost will cover Sustainability. If you regularly read the Essity blog, including my colleagues’ blog posts, I am convinced that You already know that Sustainability is a core of Essity’s business and an essential part of everything we do. In this blog post, I will focus on sustainability, mainly from an Employee Health & Wellbeing perspective.

At Essity, we believe that hygiene and health are essential to people’s well-being. This includes our employees’ health and well-being. To ensure that we as a company empower everyone at Essity to have a sustainable working life, we implemented a Global Health Framework and a tool to measure, evaluate and develop workplace health enablers during last year. Our framework and process for healthy workplaces is also a part of and captured in Essitys Annual Sustainability Report for 2020.

To work at a company, with the highest standard and ambition to lead in the area of sustainability and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as well as making sure that everyone working at Essity is entitled to a safe and healthy workplace that provides a sustainable work environment makes me really, really proud.

Sustainable health and wellbeing has been the common red thread throughout all of my blogposts. I truly believe that the key for a healthy lifestyle is creating habits and routines that will work for You, today, tomorrow and also in the long term. And from a business perspective, employee health and wellbeing, are a prerequisite for a sustainable working life, commitment, development and motivation. To be able to perform, both in short- and long term, we need energy, and our energy is in turn depending on our health & wellbeing. Do you agree?

With that said, I also want to say Good Bye for this time, since this is my last blog post at Life at Essity. I also want to say thank you to all blog readers, and your smart and nice comments and high engagement!

But this does not mean that we will not meet again 🙂 The blog will continue, but in a new, fun format so stay tuned. Moving forward, the blog will give you a even better insight in what working at Essity looks like. And who knows, I may be back.
